Language Industry Association (AILIA) quoted in article on the problems in website localization

The Language Industry Association, AILIA, was mentioned in an article of the Globe and Mail on April 11, 2011. This piece, titled Localize your website for a global audience, is part of a Going Global series on expanding business internationally.

The article discusses the troubles that businesses may encounter when translating their website for a global readership. When businesses want to open to a new language market, the credibility of translators is always a question to consider. As Ivor Tossell mentions, it is thanks to organizations like AILIA that these businesses can find certified translators that they can trust.
